This problem is one of the reasons I hate electric 4x4. My truck (a 98) has the stick on the floor. It ALWAYS works, and if it doesn't, it's easy to figure out why.

For yours, its going to be the switch, the controller, the actuator itself, or the wiring between them.... Do the easy stuff first, make sure the fuses are all good. beyond that, I don't have a clue.

Something else for the service department to make money one, and more parts for that department to extract yet more money from your wallet.....

BBB changed their policy on wiring diagrams, so I no longer have access. (I am not willing to hand them a bunch of my personal information.......) Do you have a service manual for your truck?

Owners Manual is not the Service Manual.....

Maybe we should start with just what is your 4x4 doing? What symptoms are you seeing?

They changed it so it would break, and you'd have to pay a lot of $$$ to get it fixed
