2006 Hemi 5.7 SLT dom (09/05) Heater does not work, only cold air from any vent on any setting, A/C works great, all vents switch good, Engine maintains normal operating temp, just no heater, Just started, or I just noticed, worked fine last year.. I have deer season coming up and for sure need a heater,

First and foremost, make sure the cooling system is full. Next, make sure the heater hoses are both hot. If the system is full and both hoses are hot, your heat blend door may be stuck or broken.

Thanks , I’ll check the hoses, the system is full, topped it off first.

If it is the blend door, hard to address or not.

I recently took the whole dash off and the hvac box off to replace the evap core. While there I replaced the heater core, all the blend doors, and the blower motor.

It's quite a lengthy project but with the videos on YouTube, it's very straight forward. All those parts I listed set me back right at $600 and it took me most of a weekend to do.
