06 Dodge Ram 1500 Crew Cab
Ok thank you, I have tried the second way, the one way I read it was to just turn it to the on position and let it chime twice but only get one chime. I'll try both ways the way you have listed to me. Thank you for the help, I'll let you know the out come!
Ok, neither of the ways worked. Can I just hook up a regular old push button, run a wire from the battery and then to the starter and try that way? Will that work to get it running till I can afford to get it fix probably?
I cant even find a WIM( wireless ignition module) for my yr truck. But I'm reading it could be one of three things on OBD Codes.com. it's saying could be a defective microprocessor key or key fob, a faulty ignition cylinder, or a bad PCM or a PCM programming error. I have tried to reset that PCM by pulling the fuse they ways that have been listed up above and nothing works, the code is still there and truck still will not turn over. I'm at a lost, is it either my PCM or key fob?

So I just hooked up a scan tool to my truck, did a scan and the scanner said no code found but I do the key three times turn on turn off, turn on turn off, turn on turn off. And I get a P513, but scanner says no codes found I have done all the above to try and reset the system clear the code nothing has worked at all. Everything still turns on just does not turn over to crank, red theft light is flashing on my dash! I'm at a loss, I'm leaning toward a key fob issue
My local hardware store can scan keys so I'll be doing that here in a bit, but while I am waiting on to go check that will a 04 WIM (wireless ignition module) fit my 06? The reason asking I'm not finding any online at all for an 06 Dodge Ram 1500. All I find is for 2500, 3500 or Durangos and Dakotas.
