Default P0601 caused by low battery?

Installed my rebuilt PCM for a p0601 fault. Second restart p0601 popped up again. Company said I have a low battery issue. New battery started truck several times but did take several hours to fully charge. They removed code under warranty and I will install tomorrow. My question is, every time I have a battery go bad will I have the p0601 code again?
2002 4.7 1500.

Nope. That code is for a dying PCM. I have experienced low battery voltage numerous times, on a couple trucks, and have never had that code pop up. It's whining about a memory checksum error. That is a hardware error, basically, failing memory in the PCM.

Default Had a feeling

I was thinking that the remanufactor probably was jerking me around about this. Maybe they fixed it this go round. Not having a good feeling about it though.
Thanks for your input.

None of the aftermarket remanufacturers have a very good reputation. There are horror stories everywhere about all of them sending out bad parts. Or, just painting the pcm when it comes in, and then immediately shipping it back out, without ever opening it up.....

My local dealer doesn’t know if they can get a new one. If not I’ve seen on one of the forums that Advance Auto Parts sell one. Also saw one on Mopar online.
Thanks again.

The one from the dealer will be north of a thousand bucks..... Just get one from your local parts store. That way, if there is a problem, turnaround time is a LOT shorter.....
