Orange Glowing engine light in dash

Question Orange Glowing engine light in dash code p0301

Today a glowing orange engine light cam on and stayed on in my dash i watched a video and did the key thing and got a code p0301 in the dash now im really bummed my spark plugs and wires are 2 years old if that dont know what to think.the trucks got 151 k on it but i did notice a slight misfire the last few weeks wonder what that problem is darn.If i go to the parts store would their code reader narrow the code down to what it is.im guessing Ill have to go to a shop cause im not a mechanic grrrr.

That's misfire on cylinder 1. How old are the cap and rotor? May not hurt to have a look. Also, what plugs did you put in there?

could be a coil on number 1 cylinder ,,

03 Hemi is coil on plug. No wires, no cap and rotor.

That would obviate the need to check the distributor.

I was thinkin 5.9, not 5.7. Guess I need to pay more attention.
