No you don't have to bend them lol, they don't flatten out when you remove them or no one would be able to do lowering kits at home. You don't need to drop the springs if you're just replacing the axle unless your springs need replacing. Just unbolt the big u-bolts with a large floor jack under the differential and lower it down. Don't forget to disconnect the main brake hose to the rear that feeds the calipers or you'll tear it apart. Also parking brake cable and differential vent that clips up into the frame.

I called dodge and got the ratio but does it matter if.the rear end is limited slip or not. They said this one has limited slip but when I checked by spinning one of the tires before it was non limited slip.
because when I spun the passenger tire the driver side went in the opposite direction.
