Insurence Question
I'm from the UK and now living in Florida, In the UK insurence works totally difforently.
I was wondering how insurence her works when it comes to mods, My truck is lowerd and very shortly will be getting some aftermarket wheels. Now do i have to declare all mods?
even my HU and speakers etc, I just want to know becuase if i crashed or some one damaged my car would not decaring these mods void my insurence?

Screw em. Tell them you have the sentry anti-theft key and that you are married. Hell, tell them you are a straight A student if they give a discount for that. Worse case senario you plead ignorance. "I thought i had the anti-theft key chip." They won't deny a claim if you have been paying your premiums, and in this country you NEED insurance for those out there that don't have it.

If you are making payements to a finance company, you have to have full coverage (pay for everyone's damages if your at fault). If not, you can just go collision (pay for the other guys damages only if you are at fault.) Oh yeah, depending on where you are in Florida, you'll be paying out the rear. When I moved to Ft. Lauderdale area, my premiums jumped 2x what I was paying in Georgia.
Damn I love America, no extra charge for mods SWEET.
In the UK i was paying damn near 3k (after coversion to dollars) for a 1.6 puegeot 306, 0-60 in never and a pile of poo compared to my ram.
Thanks Guys

I recently had a truck totalled and the insurance company paid for the aftermarket parts I had. All that I had to do was show a receipt for the parts. Close to $2000 in parts with no questions asked.

I have progressive and I they asked if I had over a certain amount for aftermarket accessories. I think if you are under $1000 you are fine.

If you have progressive and had them for a while go to their website and quote insurance under a different name. Not sure if they do the same practice, but worth checking. Why throw money out the window?
