Default Water in my back seat - help

Hello all,
I have a 2002 Dodge Ram 1500 Sport QuadCab. I was installing new audio equipment other day, I had to remove the under-seat folding rack, and I found standing water under the rear passenger seat, in the little upholstered "bowl" area under the seat and the fold-out rack. The strange thing is, there was so much water I had to Shopvac it, but it stayed dry for 3 days, then came back tonight suddenly. I had placed a folded towel in the depression to catch any water and it was soaked. FYI it has rained here everyday for 2 weeks. I heard the third brake lamp is often a leak source so I checked it, but it's bone dry in there. I cannot see or feel any leak in the rear glass. I got under the truck thinking maybe a body panel had rusted through and water was splashing through from below the truck (unlikely I know); no luck, can't find anything wrong. Does anyone have any idea where this water is coming from that it only saturates the depression under the rear passenger seat and nothing else? Also, while looking it did seem that the "cardboard" type inserts that are behind the rear seatbacks and the body of the truck, under the rear sliding window, did seem wet but I could not tell for sure as the seats were in the way. I guess next step is to remove the seats completely. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks a lot.

Strip out the interior in the back half of the cab, and have someone hose it down. (unless it's still raining. ) See if you can see where water is coming in.

Third brake light is very common. I know you said it was dry. Is it possible it dried out in the sun before you looked ? i think I would go the easy route first and ensure that light is properly sealed seems as it is rather common.

Many times the source of these leaks is the brake light. Sealing it with silicone may help.
There is a curve in the roof at the light that can be the culprit. If you take the light off it should be obvious if you had water leaking in there.

Thanks for the replies so far. I did remove the third brake light, I noticed the seal was tight all the way around as I pulled it out. Then I looked into the cavity and it looked dry, so I ran my finger around where I couldn't see and it was dry. Next I'll try pushing a rolled up paper towel into the cavity, see if maybe I'm missing a leak path. I am all for trying the easy route first as I have already gutted and reinstalled so much of the interior when I installed stereo equipment, then front and rear cameras, then more stereo stuff, none of at the same time of course. Thanks again and I'll just keep searching.
