Default Replace lower ball joints on 2002 2wd

My 2002 2wd was eating lower tie rod ends and stabilizer links for about a year. The last time I replaced the lower tie rod end was about 1 and 1/2 yrs ago. Just replaced it again and continued to hear loud popping noise on drivers side. I pulled the tire off after jacking it up and putting the stands under for safety. I tugged on everything that I thought was suspicious, but nothing moved. THEN I noticed bright red grease coming from the boot of the bad ball joint. HA!! Diagnosed!!! WAS a difficult fix with a couple helpful strong men and special ball joint tools from Specialty Products Company and trucks back on the road!!!!

Do you know why your truck was going through lower tie rod ends and stabilizer links? Is the truck lowered or anything?
