I have a 05 ram 1500 and I was driving to work and when I got there, the speedo stopped working and so did my climate control. The fan works but no heated mirrors or ac. I replaced my vss on the axle before I discovered the climate control issue. All I have for codes is p0501,vss performance issue. I did drive through a little water a few days before. I read somewhere that a red/black wire if corroded,will have these symptoms, I am wondering where on the fuse block it is and a fix is thanks

 

I was having my speedo cut in and out triggering abs and brake light. I check sensor looked fine, wiggled around the wires, now problems gone so I know it’s my wiring

 

Check the wires going to the output sensor on the tail housing of the transmission. Thats for your odometer. The wire were known to break in side the connector.
