I watched that video also. The 01 and 02 models are still considered Gen 2 i believe. The Gen 3 starts in 03. The fuse box in that video looks closer to my 98 dodge than my 07. I appreciate your continued efforts!

On a side note I did another pressure test and the pressures appear to be within normal range as long as i blow air across the condenser which tells me that the system doesn't have a blockage........Im at a loss as to what it could be other than the wiring or tipm

Yeah. You really need a wiring diagram. Maybe you can trace the condenser fan wiring to check for an issue. Is there a constant 12v at the fan iregardless of the HVAC setting? Or is 12v only present when A/C is selected?
Just an idea and I'm not sure IF I would do it...but could be cheaper than a new tipm.
I pretty sure the tipm provides a ground to the fan when appropriate. You may be able to wire up a separate relay which would provide a ground when the A/C is on?? Just a thought. ....

The condenser fan is not turning on. The AC compressor was short cycling causing the motor to almost stall at idle.

I replaced the condenser fan and no change. Changed the AC pressure switch then evacuated and recharged the AC system with recommended amount of 134a. The compressor has stopped short cycling but the condenser fan still wont come on.

There is power to the condenser fan connector, also the fan will run when hooked directly to the battery.

My model Ram doesn't have any relays

What am I missing?
have you found a fix for this?? I have the same issue I’ve replaced the fan all the sensors. I have power going to the motor , I re grounded it and still nothing. I then hardwired it straight to the battery to make sure it worked and it turned on. Is there a switch that tells the fan to run when it gets hot?

That fan gets Power from the TIPM, and then just goes to ground after the fan motor. If you have power there, and the fan doesn't run, verify a good ground. I am not sure what clues the TIPM in to turn on the power though.

i disconnected the ground wire from the fan motor then added my own ground. Still no fan. I just don’t know what else it could be. I took apart the tipm and checked for corrosion it is clean as a whistle. The fuses are good as well.

Does the tipm actually SEND power to the fan?
