2003 RAM 1500, 4 Door Cab - Wanting to add a non-powered sunroof. The headliner has a downward extrusion across where the lamp is, which seems like you can't install a sunroof properly cause it won't be flush to the headliner shape.
Anyone have experience with doing one? Is there an option to buy an aftermarket headliner that is more flush?

 

Real possibility there is also a metal brace running across there.... hence, the hump in the headliner.

But then, I really am not a fan of cutting holes in structural members of my vehicles.
