Default New tick this morning

On my way to work this morning a noticed a new tick. I've only had this truck 4 months but its still the first time I've heard this, and I'm still new to the Hemi. Can anyone tell me whats going on ?

check for broken exhaust bolts first.

Well it wasn't exhaust. Engine blew on the interstate. Still trying to figure out the issue

I think so. Wasn't brave enough to climb under on the highway but the whole engine bay was covered in oil

Looks like no 1 piston released the rod. Hole in the oil pan and side of the crankshaft housing

Ouch, that sucks. Kind of a rare failure for the magnum engines though. Normally, the lower end on them is pretty much bulletproof.

Yeah, my middle name is Murphy apparently. And my local shop is telling me 4 to 6k to stick in a new or used engine. Looks like I get to do a garage swap
