Default 4.7 liter hisses from the oil fill tube after turning off the engine

I have a 2005 4.7 liter that has given me alot of issues that as I correct one another pops up.
I had issues with engine codes for cam shaft position sensor and misfire cylinder 6 That HeyYou helped me drill down to potential issues.
They ended up being caused from thrown rocker arms and collapsed lifters.

I replaced every lifter and dropped in a small flat washer into the head opening before dropping in the lifters.
The engine performance was improved.
Now there are several other things that I will list then add detail below.

Idle at 1500rpm for a minute then kicks down to 600rpm
P0068 code just now popped up
Hissing out of the oil fill tube when turning the engine off
hanging ground strap on the passenger side heat shield
intermittent trans slip from a stop at operating temperature
sometimes no passing gear
slight hesitation/jerking at 30mph and also 50mph

While changing the oil I noticed the 4x4 shifter linkage was missing so I bought a new one and a ground strap hanging on the passenger side secured to the pup CAT heat shield.
It is about 10" in length but I do not see where the other end goes. There are no frayed ends visible on any bolts.
I replaced the linkage but do not know how to adjust it to lock into 4H, N, 2H, 4L

The truck is not driven much but after a couple weeks The truck is giving me transmission issues.
At idle the truck idles at 1500rpm and kicks down close to 600rpm after a minute.
When the truck is at operating temp it sometimes will slip at a stop and I have to let off the gas then apply it again to get any movement.
Also there isn't always passing gear and around 30mph there is a small hesitation/jerking felt.
If I am at 50 mph and let off the gas many times it has a similar hesitation/jerking.

Please help with all or any of these issues.

P0068 is TPS, so, bad connection, or bad sensor. This might solve a couple of your issues.
