Oof, that's a lot of work you've done there. How rough was moving the shift linkage? This is very tempting, as a proper center console is 1000 times more useful than that silly middle seat.

 

Not hard at all, the 4th gen cable for an RFE routes the same way through the same hole in the firewall to the floor shifter. Take off the steering column shroud, disconnect the cable and remove that shifter. I ordered a replacement shroud from a manual trans truck. The bitch is being willing to cut in to your dash. These line up so much better/easier in the later (06-08) 3rd gens:

I combined the conversion and console install with the seats, a new OEM carpet with some more sound deadener, a new android head unit along with integrated backup cam & tailgate lock and converting from the 02-03 minivan steering wheel to the 04-08 version using a Grant wheel as the core. Took a week off and spent most of it doing this.
