Default 2002 Dodge Ram 4.7 nv3500 will a flywheel for a 5.9 engine same trans work in my truc

I’m kind of in a hurry to get it to fix my truck and I thought I could order a flywheel from orielys but they don’t have one for a 4.7 they have them for 5.2 and 5.9 liter engine in earlier years, but im not sure if they would work, I think they would but not sur

ok so a 360 flywheel wouldn’t work, but would a 318? Since a 4.7 is balanced like a 318 I believe

Won't work.

Why do you need a new one? Can't you get the old one resurfaced?

I haven’t pulled it yet I’m hoping I can sand it down myself, there’s nowhere close to me that does that, and if I drive a hour away I can get it done but they’ll take a week to do it is what I was told and after driving and waiting a week, and I won’t have a way to drive there because the truck is the only vehicle I have, but it’s cheaper to just buy one if I can’t sand it down myself good enough

Just scuff it up yourself then. No real need to replace it, unless you find an obvious problem once you can actually see it. Should clean up nicely with some 80 or 100 grit paper.
