So i wanted to introduce myself, I'm Clay and new to the group. And i know this might be an old thread but i cant find anything anywhere so here goes. I have an 03 ram 1500 4.7 . Anyone know my stock rocker arm ratio? I was looking to go up one or 2 sizes for power.

I can't find any info at all on that on a quick search..... I notice folks offer "performance" rocker arms, but, just what makes them 'performance' isn't mentioned...... No one seems to want to talk about what ratio they are..... It's entirely possible that you simply can't go higher ratio, due to the way the rockers work.....

Ive seen 1.5 and 1.6 online that fit my truck but i cant say for sure which I'd have. I think i could get away with upping just 1 size for clearance though.

Nevermind I I had to be mistaken. Must have been for a different motor and year because I can't find it again. it may have been for the 5.9

Yeah, I know they are available for the magnum engines. Nice little performance boost for not an outrageous amount of money..... but, the valve train on the magnums works a LOT different.

Unfortunately, there just isn't a lot of aftermarket support for the 4.7....... Even finding decent cams is a major exercise.......
