Check the straps that hold your gas tank up. I bought a Ford truck one time way back when and it had no straps holding the tank. The only thing was the fuel hose that was holding it up and the fuel line. You should have heard the nioise.
they have a LAW there that if they cant fix it after so many attempts they must replace it? if i were you id REALLY look into it, heres the link........http://www.yourlemonlawrights.com/missouri/index.html

Vehicle owner responsibilities
New-vehicle owners must report problems or defects in writing to the manufacturer to use the provisions of the Lemon Law. The manufacturer must be permitted a "reasonable" number of attempts to correct the problem. Under the law, it is presumed that there have been a "reasonable" number of attempts to correct the problem if:
The vehicle has been in the repair shop for the same problem four or more times and the problem still exists; or
The vehicle has been out of service because of a warranty repair for 30 or more working days since delivery, excluding delays that are beyond the manufacturer's control.
If the problem cannot be fixed in a "reasonable number of repair attempts" the manufacturer can offer you a cash refund or a vehicle of comparable value.
Under the law, dealerships can deduct a "reasonable allowance for the consumer's use of the vehicle" from the refund. The law also stipulates that a replacement vehicle must be acceptable to the consumer.
hope this helps.................... good luck

Sorry about your plight.
As you can tell from many posts here, not everyone has such problems with their Rams, myself included. To think every Ram has such issues is like believing every other brand whose Forums you visit are all equally trouble-plaqued as those reporting the same experiences as you with the Ram. Nonsense
The real problem is the many mickey-mouse dealers (all brands) who cannot or will not do what is necessary to fix such issues, doing so the first time. I'm afraid this is in part a result of telling all our youth for decades that they are only of value working in a cubicle and not getting their hands dirty doing traditional "blue collar" jobs. Unfortunately, as the last of the Baby-Boomer craftpersons retire it WILL get worse. No one wants to be mechanics (not know-nothing "technicians"), plumbers, electricians, etc., etc.
I hope when you get rid of the Ram your luck is better elsewhere, but changing brands will hardly guarantee it.
Oh yeah, as for gas mileage, what were you thinking? Laws of physics simply require a lot of energy to move so much mass and to do so reasonably smartly requires more, duh! Too many seem to think they'll fare differently for some strange reason.
All the best.

i dont know if thats a joke or not but if youve ever had to remove a fuel tank thats even half full of gas, its a bitch once those straps are removed, im sorry but you wouldnt have made it away from the pumps filling up with a tank of gas that didnt have any staps holding it in.
