Hi, i want to know if its possibly to swap my MANUAL transmission to an AUTO trans.
As you can see in the pictures, its a P.I.A. to drive old gen transmission.
Costs?
Issues?
What i need?
Or atleast make this manual trans more comfortable to drive or autoclutch like handicaped cars.

 

So since you completely left out any info whatsoever lol, educated guess based on on what I see, you have a 2002-2003 4.7? If so, I would recommend selling the truck and finding an auto to replace it. While it is a royal PITA to convert an auto to stick, it's easier than trying to shove an electronic auto in place of a stick. Save yourself the headache and costs and find another truck.

 

Sorry, my english is new and i dont know how to be polite yet. How ever, my ram is a 2003 3.7 manual transmission, But i just did a full rebuild of the motor i dont want to sell it, i dont understand what is a ROYAL PITA
Do u thiking a short shifter would make a better drive?

 

It basically means a big pain in the butt, or in other words a very hard thing to do.

I was watching videos on YouTube,but I only watch 6 spd Cummins trans short shifter.
I have a normal v6 3.7 and 5 spd manual transmission.
I could not find any on eBay or Amazon. Where else I can take a look?

 

Summit, Jegs, etc. What trans do you have in there? (who made it?)
