Default New guy on the Forum needs some help

'06 Ram 3500 4x4 quad cab 5.9 Cummins SRW shortbed.
Joined this forum with the hope that someone out there may be able to assist me. My truck was stolen in January (long story) but the main concern I have is with the Dealer Installed Security System which I had installed when new. The guy that stole my truck took out every trace of being mine and the Installation / operating manual was not in the truck when I got it back and he apparently armed the system and I cannot figure out how to disarm or go into standby mode without the booklet.

I'm hoping one of the members may have one and possibly can scan or photocopy for me before I drive my neighbors nuts with the horn going off all hours of the day and night. I would be very grateful if someone can help out an old Veteran who loves his truck.

I *think* Dodge has owners manuals available for free online.

Moving this to third gen ram section for ya.

Was it a Mopar add-on system or did the dealer install an aftermarket one?

Why not call the dealer? They might tell you over the phone.

Default Still searching

Thanks for the responses. The system was a Mopar Security System that was a kit sold through Dodge and other Mopar dealers. I am having a hard time even getting the correct part number for the kit from my local dealer. I don't think any of the guys have more than 10 years experience so none have any knowledge of the systems. I am going to try another dealer tomorrow to see if I can get some better information. Once I get the correct number for the kit I can resume my search for kits or information on the kits.

I spent an hour plus on the phone with Mopar publications and Customer service but with negative results. Have you tried the internet??? seems to be the answer that most like to give.

Pop the panel under the steering column and see if there is a kinda flat module screwed or most likely zip tied in place, if so see what the part number on it is (if legible). According to all the 2006-2008 parts books there isn't an add-on factory kit for those years. Curious to see what you find. If you do find something, post pics of you can.
