So i have a 2003 ram 1500 crew cab short bed with a 4.7 auto. I want to take a 2006 ram 1500 single cab short bed with the 4.7 and a 6 speed manual and put the motor and 6 speed into the 2003 ram. What all would have to be done? And what parts would i need

 

I'm pretty sure that a ton changed in 2006. Different wiring and things of that nature.

 

I know the basics like the clutch and shifter. I know the computer and wiring needs swapped and i know the transfer case is gonna need changed. I just dont know what drive shafts to use for rear and front.

 

Don't both motors use the 32 tooth reluctor on the crank? Couldn't he just use the sensors and such from the original motor?
