Default Major suspension metal to metal contact ? Why is this happening ?

Ram, 1500, 5.7, 4x4, SLT, QC, 89k miles.

Which component went bad too cause this abnormal ware issue ?
I'm not sure if its one bad component or a few different issues ?

Maybe I've installed my bilstiens incorrectly

Picture is of driverside. I do have a 12 piece suspension kit
in route.. inner outer tie rods, sway bar links, upper arms and ball joints,
Lower ball joints, new boots grease fittings,

So whats causings this heavy damage ?

I think that's the spindle contacting the lower control arm .
Am I correct ?

Yes there is vibration. in the steering wheel at Highway speeds and a wandering right and left.
hard to stay center of lane .
Thanks.

Are you running any front lift? My '03 looks similar, not as quite as bad maybe, and I run about 2.5in torsion key lift. That is the steering knuckle hitting the stop in a full turn. In my case it looks just to be only at full droop like trying to turn around off road or maybe deep snow, one wheel much higher than the other. That's the problem with these cheesy half axle front ends, lift starts to throw everything out of whack. Jack it up, support it by the Kmember, let the wheels droop and check the steering at a full turn looking for worn parts.

No lift kit. Bone stock. Now that u at you mention height. My passenger side rear leaf spring pack has sagged 2 inches from the drivers side spring pack.
I which case new rear leafsprings pack is enroute as well.. both. Driver side and passenger side i bought the upgrade option from 4 leaf pack.
that was available in 2005 as a 5 pack 2200 lbs.not available at dealership as replacement part. Plus full hardware replacement kit.
From Michigan Truck Springs.
I also have a front end kit enroute as well. Just new ball joints and things for stock replacements no lifting or leveling.
From detroit axle.
So I'm thinking the dumpy leaf spring is causing the bump and gring up front on the steering knuckle like you said..?
do you concur?

So you're able to turn the wheel to where they rub on each other? Wheel / steering stops gone or need adjusting?

Are both sides worn the same?
That is the stop and there is nothing to adjust. So the only thing I see is the stop doing it's job at the limit of a hard left turn. If you turn the wheel to lock and compress/drop the suspension climbing out of a dirt road or over rocks/snow/curb, that stop will rub the lower control arm. Like I said yours is a little more worn than mine, but I'm not convinced there is anything really wrong.
Bilstein would probably tell you to take a little mush out of the shocks by compressing/tightening that top bushing a little bit.

Here is a picture of passenger side I've posted pictures of driverside in this same thread.threads both drivers side and passenger side are rubbing metal to metal
you think I should tighten the top screw on top the bushing on the shocks ? Also what about switching from rubber too polyurethane bushing ? Improve feel and
handling ?

Not so much of an issue on shocks. Controls arms and such though, yeah, they make a difference.

Is that lower ball joint boot torn??

Sure is Hey You. I've got my rebuild kit, upper control arms, lower ball joints, inner, outer tie rods with new bellows boots,
new sway links and sway bar bushings, all greasable, except for the sway bar connecting links. Little hollow air bags or
bushings of some sort. Can I fill these with a greasing needle?

IVe ordered and received my rear leaf springs, shackles and all the hardware . I'll keep old springs for re-arching .

The point of tightening the shock top bushing is to stiffen the rubber slightly, anchor the shock more firmly, preventing insulator/bushing wear and increasing responsiveness. Urethane would be better and outlast the shock, but you'd never feel the difference on a truck.
