Default Front Suspension Ball Joints Question

03 2WD. I know both upper/lower ball joints are shot. While I'm in there. Do you recommend go ahead with sway bar, inner/outer tie rods replacement? Or anything else?
Detroit Axle has a great price on a 12 piece kit.for $108.

Have a look at things before you start taking it apart, check everything that even considers moving, and if it's worn, replace it. Of course, there is no point in replacing something that is still in usable condition.

Consider new shocks since you are getting an alignment anyway. Also check wheel hubs.
Are you doing just ball joints, or controls arms too?
I"m doing upper ball joints soon, I haven't decided if I'm replacing the controls arms or not.

Shocks are good. Hubs I'll have to look at. The kit has the upper control arms with ball joint pre-installed. Some videos I've seen say you have to replace the arms. Another showed pressing the ball joint out of the upper control arm.

I am about to do ball joints and axle ujoints on my 95 1500, I appreciate the link to that deal. I wasnt planning on adding anything else to the job, I did the hubs and shocks in 17', along with axle seals and once again axle ujoints.

Needing some help freeing up the lower ball joint from spindle. I've tried pickle forks, BFH, some leverage. No one in town has a separator big enough for the Dodge. Any Tips you can offer is much appreciated.

Use your BFH, and smack the side of the spindle where the ball joint goes thru on the side a couple times. (don't hit the joint stud itself.... swing from the side.)

I bought the same kit or close too it.
I haven't done my lower Ball joints yet.
but for me I've made 3 attempts at
getting the CV Axle apart from the hub
too access the lwr ball joints with no
success. With it difficult as it is im
gonna install the very best I can get..
instead of the lower ball joints that
came in the kit.
