Who has K&N products on thier Ram?
I was looking at just the air fliter and this http://www.knfilters.com/search/prod...x?Prod=57-1533 . I was wondering what people had and how they liked them?
I have that one in my Ram and like it. It does make it louder on acceleration but it just makes the Hemi sound that much
better. I also bought the sock that protects the filter from water as the filter is in a prime location to get wet.

I have a 77 Series FIPK in my 04 Hemi QC. Love the sound and I've seen better gas mileage. Cost me about $230 off Ebay. Normally around $285. Be prepared to hear a ticking you don't normally here. Just the engine firing reverberating through the pipe, plus all the plastic you remove off the top is noise reduction.
Looks like a good kit to me. The only problem I have with mine is that its chrome. and is very hard to keep clean. I think I need like a chrome polish or something to remove the water marks. Plastic may be a better option.

I agree, you've got to be careful not to over oil the things or it'll suck the excess through and make a pretty good mess.
I've gone with the dropins mainly for economics. $12-$14 for each paper replacement vs. $45 forever. I've never been able to tell any real seat of the pants increase in power, but it did give me an extra MPG or so.

I agree with the post above. I went with a drop in on my 03' QC 1500, and not much of performance increase, or sound increase, but about 1-2 mpg both city and highway. It pays for itself in about one tank of fuel.
I concur, I put my K&N filter in right be fore my Gibson Exhaust (1 day) and it made the truck sound way better. I also did it for the economy, paper filters cost almost as much and the K&N came with the recharge spray for free at Murray's Auto. It was a no brainer. Make sure you put that sticker on the factory air box so the high school drop out dosen't toss your good filter away when he changes the oil at Jiffy Lube.
