Default my solution

well no response, hmmm couldn't be only person that had this issue; but either way right or wrong. my solution i grounded down the sides enough to get a ball joint seperator or fork on it, then put a bar right below shaft and frame where lower control arm goes, the fork was wedged on top of the bar and i gave it a good hit with a heavy hammer. came right out. hope helps if anyone else ever has same issue

Creative solution.

I've also seen folks drill into the end of the stub shaft, thread it, put in a bolt, and clamp a slide hammer to it.......

I put the truck on 4x4 chuck the wheels put the truck id drive the shaft was spinning took a grinder held it on the shaft that was spinning cut a groove 1/4 wide with a square shoulder mounted a slide hammer and our it came. while hammering I was pushing the shaft in so the retaining clip would travel a bit with each hit of the slide.
