Never had a problem with by drop in's as long as they are screwed to the bed and don't block the drain holes. I had a bed mat in a work truck. That sucked.
As far as the hazard disposal fee, I wouldn't be surprised. I work HAZMAT and companies are held to different standards that the private sector. You pay to dispose of tires, oil, batteries and etc so I would say yes to the spray on liner.I used the same drop in liner in four pickups and no problem. Just make sure you screw it in.

I vote Line-x
Only Line-x and Rhino have the Nationwide warranty so stick with them but here is why I vote Line-x Rhino cant look this good ..

I have a Lyntrux. I had the choice when I bought the rig between that and Line-X. Went with the Lyntrux due to it was thicker and more flexible.

As long as it's not rusted I wouldn't worry about it...you should see what the paint looks like after they prep the bed for a spray-in.

]I went with Linex I actually had mine done in Indianapolis by Millennium. They put some reverse graphics in mine. I could of had color but I beat the dooo dooo out of my truck and didnt want somthing I could tear up. Like kept gettting said above I liked the Nationwide warranty thing Also not sure how thick your liner is compared to mine I never heard of that other brand you just mentioned "Lyntrux" but mine is a 1/4 in thick on the bottom. Line-x will spray as thick as you want to go....
