Please someone can you help me
I have a 2008 Dodge ram 1500 SLT I have a Moto Fab 2-in front leveling kit on it and recently purchased Toyo Open country AT3 305-7017 after reading how they will not rub at all. I took them to get installed and they put the front driver side tire on first and it was rubbing on the upper control arm right away. They would not put the rest of the tires on. If I did a 2-in hub centric wheel spacer will this help me out
I am just not a fan of wheel spacers. I consider them a safety hazard.... but, folks run 'em anyway. I am curious how the tires were hitting the control arms...... That shouldn't happen.
Do you know what size rim you have? There are several rims for the 08 Ram.
The Toyo AT3 you have are 11.5 inch, and if you are putting them on rims that are 7 inches wide then the problem may be the bulge at the sidewall.
What's your current situation with tires and rims? Are the Toyos mounted on your OEM rims? If so, what are you driving on now?
An option would be to find some 9 inch rims online, I see them frequently on craigslist and offerup.
Can you post a picture of the tires on the rims?
