Default Windshield Wiper Problems

We've been having a lot of rain lately. During the last storm a couple of days ago, on my drive home from work in a heavy downpour, the passenger side windshield wiper on my 04 Dodge Ram 1500 just stopped working. No warning, no noise of any kind, it just stopped working. It was totally weird. The drivers side works fine.

Anyone have any idea what it may be?

Go digging for the wiper transmission, see what came apart.

Unfortunately the rod won’t stay on. Will have to replace the assembly. In the meantime I was able to jerry rig it

Those plastic fellers should be available at any auto parts store..... Take one out, take it to the parts store, and they should be able to match 'em up for ya.
