ok, so it had a miss so i hooked my scanner up to it, said #7 misfire…changed the plug and coil, still misfires….took it to my buddy to do a compression test….# 7 failed and several other cylinders also had low compression numbers….the big question is, what can i do to fix this problem….im trying not to replace the entire motor, so what can i do to get the compression back so its good to drive again…its a 04 Ram 1500 5.7 hemi…help me out guys

 

Do a leakdown test, to see where your compression is going. Might be just a head job. (no, not THAT kind...... get your mind out of the gutter.)

 

haha i hear ya!!…that will be my next test..il post the results of said test after we do it so keep an eye out for the results when i post them cause i may need more advice from you lol…thanks!!
