Default Help with Check Gages Light (All gauges are normal)

I have been getting an intermittent "check gages" light coming on 2006 Ram 1500 5.7. It comes on randomly, and never turns off. Sometimes its on immediately after starting, sometimes just while driving, sometimes idling, etc. There doesn't seem to be any repetitive action that makes it come on. I've tried watching the gauges very close to see if there's even a "blip" when this happens, and i haven't seen anything yet. Battery is good, alternator is putting out good voltage, oil pressure and coolant temp is reading normal. The only possible thing I can connect this to is I recently put a new tail light board in and I feel like this started showing up after that. I cannot believe that the two are related, but just giving some extra info. Does anyone know if the check gauges light is connected to the same sensors that are actually reading the gauges, or is there secondary sensors that could be failing but I'm not actually seeing them on the gauge? Is there any way to check what triggered the check gages light to come on? Thanks.

If it does, then it's working backwards, haha! The previous tailight board i had in was waterlogged and two bulbs were corroded and burnt out. All bulbs are working now that I'm aware of.

Wonder if a high-zoot scanner would tell you why it was on......
