You're not removing the lift kit without the original spindles to put back on.

You posted that it’s a 4.8l I think you meant 4.7l. If so keep very good maintenance on it. Oil change, coolant level, ect. 4.7’s don’t like to get hot. Usually takes 1 time of it happening and the motor is toast. I’ve got 217000 on mine and I’m very meticulous about oil changes and such. The other thing to look out for is the timing chain guides. They usually don’t last past 100000, it’s a pia to do and I had to have someone do mine.

yes 4.7l the motor is at 182k miles atm the orginal owner said he kept up with oil changes (but you know how that goes) i chexked the oil and it looked lile it was just changed but i dis find a bunch of lucas oil stablizer emptys in tge bes of the truck so i hope he didnt put that in im going to change the oil and coolant just to be sure..what color colant should i use? It was bought from a dealer at 170k miles and the second owner only put 11k miles on it the chassis is in very good shape and it looks like at some point the cab was swapped out there no ruat underneath and whats on the chassis and suspension is just sutface rust so if the motor does end up going i plan on doing a hemi swap a new fuel pump was just put in also

This is under the cab

I see a traction bar installed. I rec you do some research on traction bars and why they are used. Given the bent leafs and traction bar, I suspect your truck did some heavy towing at some point.
Have you opened up the rear diff and taken a look? It couldn't hurt to change the diff fluid, and you can also see if you have open diff or anti-spin (aka posi trac, LSD).

That's not a traction bar lol, that's up front (you can see it parallels the torsion bar). I mean, you can see the two oil pans lol. There isn't anything on the leafs.

I'd say it's some kind of brace, it looks like it might be designed to pivot where it's attached to the front cradle but I don't know what the other end goes to or why. Literally looks like it goes from the T-bar crossmember to the cradle and parallels the T-bars.

They're kicker bars, designed to resist the rearward movement of the front cross member on shock loads. By bolting a new front cross member onto the existing cross member, you've introduced a torsional component the factory mounts weren't designed for. They bolt from rearward front cross member to the transmission brace.

Not necessary under normal driving conditions but if you go off road, hit a curb in the snow, tag a rock, etc, the shock loads from the extra 5 inch drop could cause frame issues.
