RE: just got my dodge ram....
well i 100% detest anything that is BOSE but thats just my opinion, I looked at the MB quarts that fit my truck and on Ebay they are actually a bit cheaper than the Kappa's.
could you recommend a budget amp that will power those 4 speakers? maybe 100Wx4? I like the factory head unit, the CD player is fine and i get EVERY radio statio for 75 miles around my house. I had a pioneer with the "supertuner 3" or what ever and got freakin 5 stations...where is a good place to put an amp in that truck?
thanks for the help guys

To power four speakers off one amp I would probably recommend a nice Orion 400Wx4 or even two different. an as mounting and as far as mounting them I just put mine underneath my rear seat. but you can also take out your center seat and mount it under there but the only problem with that is that you can't easily access it if you go there with it. Another speaker brand you might wanna looka t for the 6x9's and the rears is Orion XTR I have a set of 6x9's in my front and they rock with a Orion 200W amp. And if you are going to use any amp over 200W I would reccommend to use at least 8 gauge wire.

I am using an Alpine CDA9820 its a great head unit,it does cd/cdr/wma/mp3 and has a built in XM radio tuner, all i had to do was install the antena and subscribe to the service! It is 18 watt rms,has a seperate bass control that will work on a seperate sub whoofer, comes with a remote and plenty of preamp outs for external amps.hope this helps!!
