Good comments so far and I rec following as next steps;
- heater core could have air pockets. One way to tell if there are air pockets is to listen for a gurgling noise in the heater core. Do this with engine running and at operating temp.
- HVAC controls may not have been re-connected correctly during aftermarket radio install. You would need to pop the center dash bezel and check the connections. Or could be bad rheostat.
- Blend door. I rec you research blend door problems, if you haven't already, and see if you have same symptoms.
I'm leaning toward heater core air pockets (or leak), but I think you would have a temp problem with your engine if this was the case, so I'm not certain. It sounds like air is being directed properly, it's just not warm, and that makes me think heater core problem or switch.
