If you aren't getting an indication of what gear its in, real possibility the trans range sensor has failed. Without it, the PCM doesn't know what gear your are in, and the truck won't crank.

Got it fixed, found a bad ground. Cleaned it up, and now it runs good.

Where was the ground? Sometimes it's simple things.

It was a ground that went directly to the driver side battery terminal and came from the wiring harness going to the ECM. The connection was a little corroded and the nut had come loose, once I tightened that up everything worked fine.

Most problems are usually simple things. In my case a loose nut behind the wheel :-)
