I've been out of the game too long to have any suggestions there........ Though, it seems folks like TunerPro...... I have yet to find a 'free' solution, that will give you anything more than VERY basic information.

Flashed to VIN is issue I’m sure
Quote: All the sensors and everything came from a running truck that I bought for the swap. I took the whole truck apart got w from that truck that way I was sure to have it all and knew it worked. Except the comp of corse which I just bought and had flashed to my vin and skim taken off
If you did a swap then flashed to the existing VIN, that’ll not give you the right synapse-connection responses. You’ll probably have to flash it with a custom programmer to match everything up to what you have now, engine/trans combo n such. It’s a pain in the *** if you don’t know someone with a tuner. Might get lucky on Craigslist or offerup, because ppl will buy a tuner but only need it once

Original engine was 4.7? Conversion to 5.7? 4.7 isn't drive by wire, but the 5.7 is. You need the gas pedal, wiring, and ecu configuration for a 5.7 to tell the TB to open. Dealer can flash just a VIN, they did that when I replaced my ecu with a used one for my 04 1500.
