You sure about that... it not being equipped? I just looked up your truck on RockAuto.com and it showed two EGRs for your year and engine.

I know they show one that is on the left side , back of motor bolted to the left cylinder head. I have searched the entire motor and can't find one

A little more info would be helpful. Has truck been running fine then suddenly misfires and throws EGR code? Do you know which cylinders are misfiring?

Here is a video on a 2006 showing the location. If you're standing in front of the engine, it's right below the right rear corner of the intake plenum. Video sucks but gives you an idea.

Here is the history on the truck since I bought it. It had a knock in the engine so we put new rod bearings in,new gasket kit . The truck was running perfect before , just had a knock. Now after we put it back together it's running real rough. I changed the cam shaft sensor, crank sensor and throttle position sensor, new timing chain kit and map sensor. Still running real rough. Put new plugs in and checked cool packs , they were all good. Still running rough. Can't figure out what went wrong

Did you use Mopar sensors? These engines are real sensitive to aftermarkets.... esp on the cam and crankshaft sensors
