viton gasket

Default viton gasket

someone said get the "viton" re-usable gasket for the transmission pan.
havent had any luck finding a product that name.
i called NAPA and he listed one with a heavy rubber gasket so still not sure thats the best one,.
can anyone point me to that kit?

Rubber is good. Pretty much the same thing, just slightly different material.

the $34 kit at autozone has a nice looking rubber gasket.

Viton is the type of rubber, not a product/brand name.

Check out this website for re-usable gaskets, I used this brand for my rear differential and going to use one for my transmission pan for next fluid and filter and new pan w/drain plug. The brand is LubeLocker, go to https://www.lubelocker.com/ you may also find it on amazon.
