Engine Shut-off - Error P0339
I have an '03 Ram 1500 5.7l 4x4 automatic. It has a few issues, not sure if related or what.
Few days ago I drove it to make sure it's still running and keep the battery charged, and about 2km from home down a back road, the engine shut off. RPM dropped, no response with the gas pedal, but still had power, steering seemed fine etc. 20sec of coasting later, the engine kicked back on and seemed to run fine, but engine light now on.
I have a $15 ODBII sensor from Amazon, plugged in and used a few apps and all had the same code. P0339.
$25CAD sensor by the looks of it. But, am I getting the P0339 error because the engine shut down and I kept coasting then kicked back on? or, would the sensor cause the engine to shut down?
Trying to determine if the P0339 error caused the shut down, or if the shutdown caused the error and means I have another issue.

I believe the Dorman one was $29CAD, only brand I recognized listed.
Hopefully that's all... I have driven this truck a total of 200km in the past 2.5yrs. Just one issue after another and can't do any work in the winter. I just wanna drive it.
Do NOT use the Dorman crank sensor. Get a genuine mopar sensor, or don't bother changing it, as the aftermarket sensors simply do not work as well as the genuine parts. They actually cause more issues than you are trying to solve.
