Default 2004 dodge ram 1500 SLT 5.7 HEMI

I have a 2004 dodge ram 1500 SLT 5.7 HEMI it has 234k miles on it and has been a good truck until recently I've noticed that sometimes it will loose Hp when I stop at a stop sign and I press the gas pedal and the rpms go up to about 3000 before it starts to move. Also when I'm driving down the road my truck will be at a steady speed and it acts like I hit the governor on it. So I was wondering could that be caused from the ignition coils going bad? the check engine light is on and the code is a P2311 and it says it's ignition coil D secondary circuit. Where can I find out what ignition coil it is?

That would be cylinder 4. Test the coil. Welcome to DF! Moving this to third gen ram section for ya.

Default Another ?

So would the ignition coil being bad cause it to loose horse power from a stop and make it feel like it's slipping while I'm driving down the road?

Could it mess with the shifting aswell?

Swap the coil on 4 and 6. See if the code follows the coil.

Losing one cylinder will likely make it feel down on power. Don't know if that would also affect trans behavior.... One problem at a time.
