Default Dash Cluster replacement

Dash cluster replaced because of dead gauges, today with a presumed working unit, checked all bulbs before install and found bunch bad, swapped in some from removed cluster and got all working good. Now my keyless entry does not work and there is a red light to the right of the speedo flashing, even with key removed. What have I missed or killed doing the swap?

apparently it is. Went to start the truck to deliver some things and it is in alarm mode,, key fob does not work at all on this now, cannot get fob to program using owner manual instructions. Should I have reused the littl module that plugs in back of cluster instead of using the one nalready on it? I have no idea where or how the alarm and fob controls are configured or stored

Yes, you should have. That little module on the back is your RKE module. Since you actually have one I assume it is an 02-05 (since you didn't bother to give us any info beyond "my **** is broke"). Do you have gray or black keys?
