Default 2003 Dodge ram 1500 5.9 magnum transmission issues

Hello everyone, i am recently having problems with my ram transmission. It has 120K on it and it doesn't want to shift into second unless you let off the throttle and if it has to kick down into second it does the same thing where you have to let off the throttle to get it to shift. What I have tried already is checking and adding trans fluid and also unplugging the 8 pin connector and manual shifting and neither of those have helped it at all. The fluid was normal color before I added a little too it, and it doesn't smell weird or have chunks of crap in it or anything like that. So is there anyone that might know where to look to next to try and figure out what is causing this? Because, like I said it started here in the last week or so. It sat for a month and now its starting to act up again. So if anyone has a thought on what it may be or what to check next, please let me know. Thank you and I hope you all have a great day.

I don't know if it ever has been serviced, we got the truck with 50-60k miles on it and I'm not sure if it was ever messed with, just top it up every once in a while.
