MfgAndreas

My 2002 Dodge RAM 1500 4.7 Magnum is still misfiring.
Error codes P1391+P0320.
Crankshaft sensor and camshaft sensor are new.
It also comes with a new timing chain kit and new head gaskets.
Nevertheless, there are still dropouts.
It starts normally when cold and runs fine until warm.
Then the dropouts start again.
I you can help me there, that would be really great.
Try disconnecting the front O2 sensors, see if it runs any better.

A 2002 1500 is 3rd gen so maybe an admin can move it into the correct forum. Most people here are not familiar with the 4.7 which didn't come in the 2nd gens.
The symptoms and the DTCs point to an issue with either the crankshaft or the camshaft sensor. New does not necessarily mean good, a lot of issues with crappy aftermarket parts nowadays. Hall effect sensors are prone to temperature related failures. Ideally put a scope on the cam and crank sensor inputs at the PCM.
