2 studs on my 243d transfer case somehow got broken while in my garage, (son swears he doesn't know ) what happened so it is what it is. im self what the hell do you do? buy new trans case nope, buy new used rebuilt TC, ideas much appreciated i know more info will be needed just ask ill be checking here frequently, im sure someone will have non smart-- ideas/help and thank you.

 

What was broken? Bolt heads snapped off, threads stripped? Connector problems can usually be repaired.

 

2 of the bolts completely wer sheared off flush with the transfer case housing.

 

Left hand drill bit, and maybe an easy-out.

 

yep, you can get those out. I think the torque is 30 ft/lbs, nothing crazy.
I always use a hinge drill bit to get bit centered.
