My family recently purchased a 2002 dodge ram 1500 4.7 v8, and it has an o2 sensor code, we discovered that the o2 sensor was not plugged in and the plug on the vehicle end fell off into my hands when I moved it, now I need to figure out what wire goes in what hole for the plug so it can be correctly repaired.
as far as I can tell the colors coming from the vehicle seem to be 1 green/white stripe,1 black, 1 black and grey, and 1 brown or violet but I'm not 100% sure about the brown or violet as it's difficult to get a close enough look at them.
during research I've found a few posts about the colors being various colors so i am unsure if there is any kind of consistency or not. the closest we have found states the colors being dark green/white-relay output, brown/violet-heater control,black/light blue- ground, tan/white-signal.
there is no tan/white at all. attached is the best image I could gather currently of the wires
it is for the upstream o2 sensor before the catalytic converter. the o2 sensors are on the passenger side, there are only two of them on the specific truck version we have, and one catalytic converter.
based on the link you send it could be the "1/1 upstream except california version" (bottom rightmost in the picture linked)
it has the closest colors to the ones I was seeing, not 100% if there are any light blue stripes but they could look grey so it may be correct. i will look through the diagrams in that link and see if it provides further answers
that pdf seems like it might be helpful, ill read through it and when the weather clears again ill check out the different things linked on here to see if i can get it sorted out
That PDF is pretty helpful, it doesnt have wiring diagrams which is a bit of a bummer but its very detailed about a lot of other things needed. the testing process for the wires should be simple enough after seeing some videos on it recently

It does if you actually look for them.......
If you mean they don't have detailed pics of what wire goes into what connector cavity, then no.
