2004.5 Ram 3500 Cummins- running problems
Yes, I need to get my hands on a scanner that can do live data.
I did fill up the fuel tank all the way and noticed a big difference in how it runs. It has power and does not falter until I get to 2500 rpms at which point it stubbornly shifts and regains power completely. Even pedal to the medal I cannot get into 3000 rpms. But it can get up to whatever speed I need... as long as the tank is more than half full.
So it does seem like fuel delivery but it just seems odd that it would be worse when the fuel tank is low. What would that indicate, a broken uptake tube? Or bad fuel/algae in tank?
