Default Problem installing lower control arms.

Hey guys I have a issue I hope someone can help with. I'm currently putting new front end on my 04 dodge ram 1500 4x4. And ran into a problem...
When installing the new lower control arms I cannot get them to fit into to mounts/ crossmembers. I'm not sure if the bushings in the arms are to big? or what but I even tried using a sludge with no luck. Has anyone else ran into a similar problem? If anyone has any suggestiongs please let me know.

Verify they are the correct part number for your truck. I think there are differences between 2 and 4 wheel drive.....

Concur with heyyou, we could help double check the right part if you could provide the manufacturer and part number. A picture of your current situation is helpful also, and maybe another pic of new control arm next to old one.

Have you measured the "old" bushings and the ones from the new part?
Maybe try to lube it with some silicone grease to get it in easier?

no I haven't yet but I will. Good idea I'll try some lube. It's been very cold out lately like below 20 could the cold be shrinking the metal? I'll measure the bushings on the arms first to see if there out of spec first then go from there. I've never had this issue lol
