Ok, that's just..... odd.... Do you have a scanner that can read live data?
I have a FIXD scanner. Have to pay for the subscription for live data I believe. The last code I got was “B1631 Mirror driver left circuit failure” which was on Saturday I believe. I left the neg connector unhooked over night on sunday and monday morning no codes and out of limp. When I left work it was back in limp and checked for codes when I got home but nothing. Last night I left the neg connector off again and woke up today with it out of limp mode. Haven’t checked it sense making it to work today.
I don't think the mirrors have anything to do with the trans.... but, hey, it's dodge, ya just never know.
Really need to see what is going on when it drops into limp mode. It is losing some data point that it really wants, finding which one would go a long way toward solving the issue.

Ok i’m on my lunch and I CAN access live data on FIXD and I added oxygen sensor voltage gauges should I add something else?
Truck is back in limp mode…
I would be more inclined to think it was one of the other sensors. TPS, crank or cam sensors, anything dealing with vehicle speed, or trans output speed.
Ok since my last update I still haven’t tracked down the gremlin that is putting my truck in limp mode when I turn the key to “acc” after driving and turning it off. I unhook the ground connector for about 30 seconds and it takes it out of limp until the next time I drive it. Any clue as to what it could be?? Still no codes in limp or out of limp mode.
