Default key chime stays on

I have a 2004 2500 I don't know history on, it had headlights hot wired when I got it. I have replaced ignition switch and key switch, fuse box and attached module, now lights work as should. Key buzzer chime stays on when key pulled and kills battery overnight. Working the tilt column seem to effect it but not all the time. I have cleaned all the grounds I could find, new battery. any ideas?

I am quite literally just having the same issue as you. Truck thinks the key is in or acc is open, normally pulling the key out kills the circuit, but she stays on... thinking it may be a short from the ICM side, gonna do some probing and see what pops up.

I replaced a ign switch and it worked for a week, changed the steering column angle and it crapped out again YAY!

Did you get yours sorted ?

Check the connectors at the switch, and see what happens to the wires as you move the column up/down......
