45RFE question
2002 Dodge Ram 1500. 4.7 engine, 2 wheel drive, about 170,000 miles. Never towed anything.
Riding down the road, everything seems fine. No trans noise, no slippage. Then loss of power to wheels. Coasted to side of road. All positions on gear shift vehicle reacts as if in neutral. No limp home mode. No reverse. Checked fluid, level good, color good, smells good.
did Scan and got P0846 code. Dropped pan. Fluid red, not burnt. No materials or debris in pan. Nothing on magnet.
any suggestions as to problem?
