Need help locating wires...
I need to tap a 'always hot' wire. I think that the cigy lighter will work good for that.
I also need t o tap into a ACC 'hot with key on' wire but I can't get in behind where the radio is, orther wise I would use power to the radio. Anyone know of a easy wire to get at under the steering column?
I need this info for this Saturday, need to finish my hands free install for my cell.

you can tap the cig lighter for the always hot and the accessory plug for the keyed hot(i think thats how they are wired) one is always hot,the other keyed hot, just cant remember which does what right now,to access them is easy, remove the screw at the trash bag hook, the rest of the radio facia is snap in,if you wish to access the radio wires just remove the 4 screws that attach at each corner and slide the radio out!(after removing the facia)
I see your dilema!Your dash is different than mine, mine is an 04'You'r local dealer can tell you how to remove the facia or you can call an audio installer in your area, but it looks like it just clips on,i dont see the anchor screw mine has
They changed the dash from the 04/05. You don't have the highly functional and very useful bag hook (sarcasm intended).
I haven't seen an 06 to know, but check your fuse panel. Usually there are a couple of spare sockets of both keyed and hot sources.

You should be able to easily track down the wires you need with a simple tester light.

Well the fuse panel is in the engine compartment. I didn't want to drill through the firewall for something like this. There is a wire bundle down by the pedels but I could not find a key switched power source.
I'm going to post another question here asking for a wire diagram. If I can tap that harness I will be good to go.
